We are excited to share that the junior leaders of Tilton, Kelly + Bell, Victoria Grzyb and Meng Ying Qi, have actively engaged the emerging professionals of AIA Illinois to share TKB’s innovative design solutions for the historic Illinois State Armory Building in Springfield.
Originally built in 1936 as a WPA project, the Armory has served as a drill hall, convention site, sports and entertainment venue, and home to the National Guard, State Police, and other agencies. After sitting idle since 2010, this iconic building is now on its way to being restored and renovated.
