With over forty years of experience, Michael Kelly has guided public and private sector projects in a leadership role, nurturing the design process, managing project administration and ensuring quality control. His work spans from government agencies from local to federal levels, and some of the world’s leading foundation, association, consulting, high tech, proprietary trading and law firm clients.
Michael is an established leader within the Chicagoland Area and is highly esteemed for the delivery of quality design that responds to functional and technological imperatives.

Her thoughtfulness in detail throughout the entirety of the design process brings value for all project budgets. As Project Manager and Architect, Michelle leads by example. With over 10 years of experience, Jorge brings international design excellence from Mexico to Chicago, providing creative and aesthetic design solutions for educational facilities, government offices and private corporations. His work in Mexico is remembered for its social responsibility within the Mexican urban environment.
Now at TKB, Jorge integrates design with technical requirements. His imagination is displayed from conceptual design to construction, through the use of color, texture, and light to create unique spaces and expressions of form and volume.

Ashraf’s architecture and coordination experience spans three continents and 25 years. His experience from handling mega projects King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (KACWC Building) to the design of mixed-use high-rise towers in Montreal, Canada and various projects in Egypt has contributed to his success. Now relocated to Chicago, Ashraf’s work includes educational, institutional and governmental projects, with a focus on offices, laboratories and classrooms.
Ashraf focuses on functional design solutions and technical requirements. Ashraf’s focused coordination with engineering consultants and contractors assures a smooth project experience.

Director of Finance Joanna O’Brien, oversees and manages the firm’s finances including project fees and client invoicing. She communicates with clients on financial matters, working within each client’s specific project management software as needed.

With more than twenty-five years of AEC industry experience, Bassem is a successful, results-oriented BIM leader. He assures that the TKB staff are consistently trained in BIM implementation and best practices, keeping the design professionals up to date on evolving developments in BIM software.
Bassem supports project teams by processing technical data, demonstrating a passion to improve the way that buildings are designed, coordinated, and delivered through the strategic use of design technology and process through BIM, Visualization, Computational Design, and Performance Analysis. Bassem is committed to setting and implementing a cohesive strategy for design technology, establishing the BIM core foundation for the firm’s work.
