With over forty years of experience, Michael Kelly has guided public and private sector projects in a leadership role, nurturing the design process, managing project administration and ensuring quality control. His work spans from government agencies from local to federal levels, and some of the world’s leading foundation, association, consulting, high tech, proprietary trading and law firm clients.

Michael is an established leader within the Chicagoland Area and is highly esteemed for the delivery of quality design that responds to functional and technological imperatives.

Michelle Bowman’s excellence is derived from her expertise in all design phases allowing her to translate design intentions into well-executed projects. Her experience serves a wide variety of clientele ranging from universities, government, private and public sector institutions.

Michelle’s collaborative approach to projects produces designs within a client’s vision and imagination. Her thoughtfulness in detail throughout the entirety of the design process brings value for all project budgets. As Project Manager and Architect, Michelle leads by example. Her talent and skill bring the design team together to provide design excellence through collaboration.

Lancer Livermont brings 26 years of technical and sustainable design experience from Colorado to Illinois. His commitment to meeting project schedules and budgets optimizes resources and minimize costs.

Lancer promotes environmental and human wellness in his designs. His expertise guides clients and the design team with streamlined communication. His work is grounded by architectural history and theory, foundational to the design solutions Lancer provides.

With over 10 years of experience, Jorge brings international design excellence from Mexico to Chicago, providing creative and aesthetic design solutions for educational facilities, government offices and private corporations. His work in Mexico is remembered for its social responsibility within the Mexican urban environment.

Now at TKB, Jorge integrates design with technical requirements. His imagination is displayed from conceptual design to construction, through the use of color, texture, and light to create unique spaces and expressions of form and volume.

Ashraf’s architecture and coordination experience spans three continents and 25 years. His experience from handling mega projects King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (KACWC Building) to the design of mixed-use high-rise towers in Montreal, Canada and various projects in Egypt has contributed to his success. Now relocated to Chicago, Ashraf’s work includes educational, institutional and governmental projects, with a focus on offices, laboratories and classrooms.

Ashraf focuses on functional design solutions and technical requirements. Ashraf’s focused coordination with engineering consultants and contractors assures a smooth project experience.

Victoria’s attention to detail enhances success of any project type. Victoria applies a strong work ethic and targeted design strategies to complex architectural issues. Currently contributing to workplace, higher education and government projects, her experience in thoughtful programming and design planning contributes to project success.

Victoria’s work emphasizes production of design document drawing sets, team collaboration and aesthetic integrity. Her recent work promotes functionality and optimization of spaces according to client needs.

Juan Ledesma’s nine years of experience in design and construction contribute to meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality throughout the process.

Juan’s ideas are captured in drawings, showing clarity of the form and function. His expertise in CAD and BIM software expedites project completion. His ability to envision construction details supports the team in this critical architectural skill.

Award-winning interior designer Mengying Qi’s experience includes government, higher education and corporate projects in both the United States and in China. A common thread across her design in multiple cultures and project types is her attention to the details of interior design and their reinforcement of function within the building.

Mengying’s designs transform spaces into experiences, incorporating functionality with beauty. Her work integrates historic and contemporary styles with current technical solutions to achieve a unified and cohesive concept. Her skill in fusing finishes and furniture into a single concept within the budget and schedule contributes to the successful execution of project designs.

Meghan Weidner brings an organizational mind to the design team. She supports the design team through schedule development, communication to subconsultants, and ensuring proper business organization internally. Meghan utilizes a methodical and thorough approach to keep the team’s projects on track.

Meghan works directly with clients, subconsultants, and contractors to ensure adherence to project schedules. Meghan effectively consolidates and circulates critical information to the internal and external team. Her efficiency and attention to detail contributes to project success no matter the size or scope.

Director of Finance Joanna O’Brien, oversees and manages the firm’s finances including project fees and client invoicing. She communicates with clients on financial matters, working within each client’s specific project management software as needed.

Joanna O’Brien began her journey with TKB in 2011, managing project financial matters for a growing portfolio of clients. Joanna’s continues to drive financial excellence and strategic growth, ensuring the company’s financial health and long-term success.
